The PADI Seal Team is for young scuba divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by completing exciting AquaMissions. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to dive with flashlights, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? Beyond learning basic scuba skills, there are specialty AquaMissions, such as wreck diving, navigation, buoyancy, environmental awareness and more. PADI Seal Team includes doing some cool stuff in the pool, meeting friends and sharing in the adventure of the underwater world.
The PADI Seal Team program instills a sense of responsibility and reverence for the underwater world, with a two-part structure.
In the first segment, AquaMissions 1 – 5, fundamental scuba diving skills are taught, including techniques like underwater breathing, clearing a water-filled mask, recovering a regulator, and experiencing the weightlessness of underwater movement. Each session lasts approximately an hour, and successfully completing these AquaMissions earns you recognition as a PADI Seal Team Member. Additionally, your progress can count toward the PADI Open Water Diver course when you reach the appropriate age for participation.
The second part involves 10 specialty AquaMissions, encompassing thrilling adventures like identifying aquatic creatures, engaging in search and recovery diving, and practicing skin diving. Mastery of all these missions grants you the prestigious status of a PADI Master Seal Team Member, placing you in an exclusive league of skilled young scuba divers.
