The Advanced Open Water Diver course typically includes a total of five specialty dives, each of which focuses on a specific aspect of diving.
- Deep Dive: This dive takes you to depths of around 18 to 30 meters (60-100 feet) to explore deeper underwater environments.
- Underwater Navigation Dive: You’ll learn and practice underwater navigation techniques using a compass and natural references.
- Night Dive: This dive is conducted after sunset, teaching you to navigate and explore the underwater world in the dark.
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive: You’ll work on improving your buoyancy control to glide effortlessly underwater.
- Wreck Dive: Exploring sunken ships, aircraft, or artificial reefs, understanding how to safely explore wrecks is a key component.
